We had a spectacular tour on a gorgeous day (March 5th) and were extremely fortunate to see whales throughout our 3 hour tour! Our guide, Lisa, was truly exceptional, educating us throughout the trip. To note, we were on the Ultimate Whalewatch with the Experts out of Ma'alaea Harbor. We highly recommend this tour.
The Ultimate trip is more expensive, but totally worth it. The boat is much smaller, and with covid restrictions, we only had 13 people on the boat. It is 3 hours long and you are served a nice continental breakfast and drinks, as well as two beers or wine. We immediately found a pod of six whales and observed a lot of their behaviors. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly, and the small boat made it real easy to get pictures and see the whales. This is a great company, and a great tour. Definitely a highlight of my vacation!
