Incredible Crew on Manta Tour

We just did the Manta night snorkel a few days ago and it was a once in a lifetime experience. The crew was extremely nice and took great care to make sure everyone was comfortable. My wife is 4.5 months pregnant with twins and they checked on her a few extra times to make sure she was good and helped her get situated in the water with her flotation device. The size of the tour was relatively small, about 12 people and where we snorkelled there was only 1 other smaller boat. We had Manta Rays by our boat almost instantly. There were 2 with us, feeding and flipping upside down, within inches of us. They even grazed us a few times. We spent about 40 or so minutes in the water I believe but it felt like hours. I would recommend this company to anyone and if you're staying at any of the hotels north of Kona, we were at the Fairmont Orchid, they are the perfect provider for you. Right up the road and absolutely incredible.

Amazing Manta Ray Snorkeling

This was a last minute addition to our trip when we heard from other travelers that this was the best thing they did on the Big Island. They were not wrong. We did the 7pm Manta Ray snorkel trip. We had 8 people including 4 small kids ages 7 to 11. All of the kids got in the water and had an awesome time. Two of the kids got a little scared (the mantas get really close) but the crew was awesome and helped them have a great experience.

They provide everything you need including a wetsuit so I’d recommend leaving all of you stuff in the car and just showing up in your swim clothes. We brought a ton of stuff (towels, change of clothes, etc) and we didn’t need any of it.
