Go Night Diving in Kauai and see the Reef Before and After the Sun Goes Down!

This thrilling experience allows divers to observe Hawaii’s underwater nightlife at its best. See octopus, eels, lobsters, sleeping turtles, and more in the dark!

The Twilight/Night dive is one of our favorites! Conducted from our shore location, one dive will be at dusk and one dive will be at dark so you'll experience the transition from day to night and all of the different species that come to life. You never know what you'll see!
This tour is for certified divers only, however, newly certified divers are welcome to join us! This thrilling Kauai twilight & night dive experience allows divers to observe Hawaii’s underwater world as it transitions from day to night!

Divers are likely to encounter parrot fish blowing a mucus bubble to put themselves to sleep and crustaceans such as lobster, shrimp and crab beginning to emerge after a long day’s rest. Our Hawaiian octopus and eels become a bit more active and observe the turtles sleeping. Finally, on occasion divers experience a nocturnal phenomenon called bioluminescence.

Each Twilight/Night dive typically lasts approximately 45 min depending on air consumption with an average depth of 27-40 feet.

If you would like to upgrade to nitrox tank(s) for your dives, please be ready to show proof of enriched air certification to your instructor. We will be unable to allow you to dive on nitrox without proof of enriched air certification. If unable to show proof at dive site prior to diving, no refunds can be offered due to the extra planning required to dive with nitrox. If not yet certified, consider obtaining your Enriched Air Specialty Certification, ask your reservations specialist how!

We did a twilight and night dive. They were very professionally led and a lot of attention was given to the wildlife we would encounter. We saw a lot of turtles, eels, coral, lobsters, shrimp, and other creatures. My son loved the bioluminescence. The sunset was spectacular and after the night dive the stars were spectacular. I would highly recommend these dives.

Decided to dive last minute when on vacation, website directed me to a text message with someone where I was easily able to discuss availability and schedule while relaxing on the beach with my family. Showed up for the night dive and worked with Christopher who took me out on two shore dives in a beautiful setting! Ran I to so much wild life including squid and lots of curious turtles. Highly recommend.
