Humpback Whale season is December – March for the island of Kauai!

Join us for a fun adventure as we go whale watching along Kauai’s south shore to find the gentle giants of the sea. This popular Humpback Whale watching tour is featured during the height of Hawaii’s whale season (December – March) and is a favorite among wildlife enthusiasts. Be sure to bring your camera!

Every year, hundreds of Humpback Whales migrate from the cool waters of Alaska to the warm safe waters of Hawaii to have their babies and find their mates. During this fascinating voyage, you’ll have the opportunity to see baby whales experience their first few weeks of life and watch as adult Humpback Whales breach the water. Come see these majestic giants of the sea for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

All of our tours during this time of year have a good chance of seeing Humpback Whales, but the tours listed below are dedicated to finding whales. They are also equipped with hydrophones so you can hear the Whales sing! Whale songs are an important part of Hawaii’s history, with legends stating that whale songs helped guide the first Polynesians to Hawaii. Our whale watching tours are fun for the whole family and include complimentary treats and drinks.

Great Fun!

Went on a raft trip with Shawn and Jamie, so much fun. We saw a whale breach before we even got out of the harbor. Both of the guides were so knowledgeable and fun. Both went out of their way to make the trip exciting. I highly recommend this adventure especially with Shawn and Jamie. As an aside, saw Jamie at the Hanapepe Art Walk the next night, she recognized us right away and gave us more good advice. Thanks so much to both of them for creating a wonderful memory of this beautiful island.

This was such a fun and rewarding experience. Our captain was so kind, funny, and knowledgeable. She made sure we knew what to expect and kept us relaxed and entertained the whole time. We saw sea turtles, manta rays and WHALES! Our crew member, Noah was kind and funny as well. The Raft was so quick, so once we got word of the whales being spotted we were there in no time which was great. Overall, this is definitely a great way to spend a few of your hours in Kauai.
