About the Morning Dive

Get in the water bright and early, explore Hawaii’s most famous deep wrecks and shallow reefs, and see the stunning marine life. This is a favorite among experienced divers!

Dive Itinerary

We pick you up at your Waikiki area hotel between 6:00 – 6:15 a.m. and arrive at our shop at 6:30 a.m. (If you are meeting us at the shop, meet time is 6:30 a.m). From there, we fill out the necessary paperwork, gear up, and get onto the boat.

We launch at about 7:00 a.m. and head out to our first dive site, normally a deep wreck dive. After the first dive, we change out the tanks while you enjoy complimentary snacks and water.

During our surface interval, we motor to our second dive site, which is usually a shallow reef or drift dive. Once we complete our second dive, we head back to the marina and offload.

While we unload, you have time to visit our shop to pick up a souvenir, fill in and stamp your log book, or grab a shave ice nearby. We return to the shuttle at 11:00 a.m. and drop you off at your Waikiki hotel around 11:30 a.m.

Cancellation Policy

We have a standard 48-hour cancellation policy for all dive charters and a 72-hour cancellation policy in effect for all private charters. Refunds are not given if you fail to show for your scheduled dives or cancel your reservation with less than 48/72 hours notice.

2 dives - 1 deep wreck, 1 shallow

I visited Reef Pirates to complete my Nitrox certification and did the morning 2 dives. First was a deep dive to a fighter plane wreck and the second was a shallower dive with lots of Turtles. Our guide Crash was awesome and made sure we had a good dive and saw as much as we could. Our captain Chris was also great helping us in and out of the boat. Professional, safe and fun operation to go diving with.

Even better thank expected

My sixteen year old son and I hadn't been on a dive in over five years and we excited at the opportunity of diving in Hawaii. Especially since we had never been on a wreck dive. We took a refresher course before the trip so we were up to speed on the basics. Our Dive Master Crash made sure that we were well informed for the dive since it had been a while for us both. He made sure to pay close attention to us the entire time. We did both a deep wreck and a shallower reef dive. The wreck was a Landing Craft Unit and was just enough for us to get the thrill of it. Also spent some time with a White Tip Reef Shark under the wreck! Very cool! On the reef we saw two more sharks, two moray eels, an octopus and a school of puffers. There was a big summer swell taking place while we were there so Crash made sure we hit one of the deeper reefs for descent visibility. The boat is cozy with a small group seven people total on the dive which I prefer. Would absolutely use them again!
