View Bali Hai, also known as the Makana Mountain, which starts at the beginning of the Na Pali Coast on the north shore of Kauai. Soar over Manawaiopuna Falls, one of the Garden Isle’s most famous waterfalls. Best known from the opening of the 1993 blockbuster film, Jurassic Park. Watch from above as the water rushes over a 380-foot tall cliff surrounded by walls of deep green lush flora. Located within Hanapēpē Valley on the west side of the island, it is a site few can say they have seen while on Kauai.

Continue on over to Hanalei Bay which covers nearly two miles of beach and is backed by 4000ft tall emerald mountains: Hihimanu is on the east, Namolokama is in the middle with its square top, and the triangular shaped Mamalahoa is to the west. Often cloaked with a mist of clouds the Mt.Waialeale ridge home to dozens of cascading waterfalls.

The name Waialeale, meaning “rippling water or overflowing” receives over 400 inches of rain per year and is known to be one of the wettest spots on earth. You’re surrounded by enchanting waterfalls and lush green walls of fauna. Waialeale Crater aka Blue Hole & The Weeping Wall. From above you will see it all and find yourself lost in the beauty and mystery of Kauai’s enchanting lure.

How many seats and what is the seating configuration?

Our helicopter carries up to 6 people plus the pilot, though seating assignments are determined by weight and balance.

What clothing should I wear?

Expect your flight to be windy and cooler so jackets and sweatshirts are sometimes required, long pants are recommended. Please note that hats are not allowed on board your flight. You may leave any hats in the office during our flight.

Is it guaranteed that I will see everything listed on the tour?

We try to fly over every landmark listed on your selected tour. Once in a while we have to contend with poor visibility, strong winds, or other weather that may prevent us from taking our normal route. We will do our best to cover the listed landmarks as well as accommodate any requests that you may have.

What’s the difference between a Doors On & Doors Off tours?

Our main tours are door-off helicopter tours, but we can accommodate doors-on for a customized charter. Please note that they are windy and colder so you will have to wear warmer clothes. Doors-off tours also provide a better photographic experience as you will enjoy unobstructed floor-to-ceiling views. Company policy that doors off tours will only accommodate ages 12 years of age and older.

I get motion sickness frequently. Should I take medicine before the flight?

Our flights are very smooth; this is not a theme park ride! So many people who presume they may have an issue feel just fine during the tour. However, if you are prone to motion sickness you might want to take a motion sickness pill just as a precaution. We want you to enjoy your flight!

Are young children allowed on flights?

Company policy that doors off tours will only accommodate ages 12 years of age and older.

What is your cancellation policy?

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.

Love this adventure!

This was amazing! We highly recommend this adventure. The host Primo is wonderful and helpful. The pilot Wayne is skillful and calming and knowledgeable. The views are one of a kind and can’t be duplicated anywhere else. The island is so gorgeous and diverse. Seeing it from the air is incredible and unique. We did doors off which sounds scary but was really wonderful. The breeze kept everyone from getting nauseous and the views are spectacular. Do it!

Once in a lifetime experience

We did the doors off heli tour and it was amazing! From the booking process to the personable communication and then the tour itself! 5/5 stars! Excellent customer service, friendly, accommodating and the stunning tour of the most beautiful place on earth! Never miss this tour !!

Recommendations/things to keep in mind as you prepare for the tour - make sure that if you were planning on recording the trip at all, whatever you use needs to be secured. I brought a selfie stick for my phone with a strap, thinking that would be 'secure' enough, and it definitely wasn't with the doors off option. The pilot had a little hesitation which was enough for me to choose to not use the phone during the flight. Thankfully, my husband had brought his go pro and a headstrap which was PERFECT. It recorded our entire trip and both of us were able to enjoy the flight without thinking about taking picture/video.
