Passengers with mobility issues need to be able to take a step across from the dock to the boat in order to board, and then guests can then be immediately seated. Our crew can assist if needed — just make sure to arrive a little bit early! Once on board, there is plenty of space for all our guests. Walkers and collapsible wheelchairs can be brought on board. Motorized chairs or scooters are not allowed.
We attended the Gillian’s island luau tonight & it was awesome!
We got the VIP seating & was worried about the open air seating because the weather has been really unpredictable & stormy - while it rained a bit it turned out to be a beautiful evening!
We each got a lei upon arrival which was such a nice touch & the staff were very lovely.
The food was plentiful & varied - we didn’t see the passion fruit squares but the other dessert was great.
The mahi mahi was delish!
The show was excellent! Such a nice display of regional dances & history & the performers were wonderful! The singer was engaging, funny & charming while the dancers were so talented! As a professional dancer myself I was so impressed!
A must attend if you are in Maui - this is a new show & while they are still working out a few kinks it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening!
Great Luau for little ones
We attended this Luau on a whim after our Old Lahaina Luau got rained out. We have a 3 and 5 year old, and I honestly think this Luau was better for them than our original Old Lahiana Luau plan. It is much smaller, so we were close to the stage and our kids loved it. We also liked that the buffet was open immediately upon arrival and that it was only 2 hours which is great for an early kid bedtime. The highlight of the show is the fire dancer at the end.
Food is fine, I think on par with other Luaus we’ve been to in the past. Overall great experience, highly recommend.
