We were lucky enough to be in Maui during mid-January when there are whales aplenty. Our captain did a great job finding whales engaging in surface behaviors. Lauren, our naturalist, was excellent; she provided lots of information and was very engaging. The rest of the staff took very good care of us. Because our trip was during Covid, capacity on the boat was low, we had a great spot to view the action.
