Last Minute Dinner Cruise

We had a half hour to walk to the Dinner Cruise boat. We were in our swimming suit as we decided to do one last thing the day before we went back home. To our surprise. no one cared how we looked. The staff on the cruise were absoutely very attentive, friendly, helpful with anything we requested of them, kind and just made this last hurrah for us the best thing we did before we headed back home. The food was a great assortment vegans and carnivors. Sodas were unlmiited and service from the staff were so awesome I forgot how grubby we looked. Food was delicious!! Music was very mellow so we were able to enjoy the boat ride with the background music. The history of the whole trip was very informative! The Captain and his Crew or Staff were just oustanding. We were so glad we caught the dinner cruise before it sailed. We also saw many dolphins near our boat and goats on the mountain while the boat was not moving. The boat ride back was so beautiful as we watched the sunset go down on the way back and listened to the mellow music of the musician. This trip is worth doing if you want to relax, eat, and be pampered by the staff/crew at the same time. There were some people that enjoyed dancing so that was fun to watch as well. It was the best thing we did on our last day in Kona, Hawaii . You should save this cruise when you want to just chilll , relax and enjoy the boat ride amongst great service!! Thank You!! We had a wonderful dinner cruise!!

Dinner Cruise

Wasn’t sure what to expect when we booked this, and I don’t often take the time to review, but I felt compelled to do so in this instance. My wife and I and friends absolutely loved this cruise. The staff are really excellent doting on each passenger with exceptional personal service. The 6th generation Hawaiian gentleman, (his name escapes me), was very informative and interesting as he told us of the islands’ history as we cruised the coastline. Dinner was surprisingly good as we watched humpback whales breach in the distance and a pod of spinner dolphins jumped playfully near our boat. On the ride back we were serenaded by a wonderful young musician named Bula. He plays a wonderful ukelele and guitar in a beautiful Hawaiian sound. He played many requests including mine, (John Lennon’s Imagine), and he alone was worth the price of admission. All of this with one of the most amazing sunsets I’ve ever enjoyed as the backdrop made for a truly magical evening. Thanks for a night we’ll always remember!
