Napali means “the cliffs"
If you’re ready for an action-packed, wet & wild adventure on Kauai’s incredible Napali Coast, look no further! Join us as we cruise along one of the most extremely beautiful and humbling sections of coastline in the world.
We will treat you to incredible sights, but this is a true adventure which can be windy, bumpy, and wet at times, due to the type of vessel and daily conditions in the area. Give us a call to discuss other tour options if you aren’t ready for adventure level ten!
Today, this section of the coast is designated as the Napali State Wilderness Park, but it was once home to thousands of thriving native Hawaiians. Then and now, Napali is distinguished by her towering sea cliffs, lush emerald valleys, sea caves, cascading waterfalls, secluded beaches, crystal-clear bluest-blue waters, and often rainbows.
Our two Kauai-built rigid-bottom inflatable-hull vessels are the boats to take you and your loved ones to this most magical place in safety, style, and comfort. In 2022, our company became the first tour boat company in the state of Hawaii to implement cutting-edge, energy-saving diesel outboard motor technology. In addition to using roughly half of the fuel as gasoline outboard motors, our new diesel engines have the added benefit of being significantly quieter than gas motors—which makes for a more pleasant experience! Also, taking highly flammable gasoline completely out of the picture dramatically increases safety. Other “creature comforts” you’ll experience on our boats are forward-facing seating and full-size marine bathrooms.
Departing from Hanalei Bay means that we’re on the heart of the Napali Coast within minutes—no time wasted “getting there.” Our experienced Captains and crew members will point out interesting geological features and share history, myths, and legends of the coast as we cruise along, keeping our eyes peeled for Hawaiian spinner dolphins, sea turtles, pelagic seabirds, and other wildlife. This afternoon tour is short and sweet, enough time to soak up all the sights of Napali and still enjoy your own morning or evening adventures on your own. Snacks and drinks are provided.
Be sure to bring your camera on this visually stunning ocean adventure that conveniently departs from Hanalei Bay and is likely to become the highlight of your trip to Kauai. Come see what all the hype is about and do so safely and comfortably with Holo Holo Charters!
We pride ourselves on creating fun and memorable ocean adventures for our guests. Your safety is our top priority; therefore, all tour routes, destinations, and snorkeling activities are dependent on ocean and weather conditions. Conditions around Kauai can change quickly, so our expert captains are constantly analyzing and may wait until check-in time to determine the best route for the day. If that occurs, you will have the opportunity to go on the altered tour, reschedule to another day, or cancel your tour at no charge if it is weather-related. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 808-335-0815 so we can help create the best experience for you and your family!

If adventure is what you’re seeking, then our custom Kauai-built Adventurer II & III are sure to get you to the Napali Coast in record time! Two identical 40-foot long and 12.5-foot wide Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats are quick and agile, large enough to include all the comforts you expect and nimble enough to get up close to the Napali Coast’s lush valleys, sea caves, waterfalls and lava tubes.
Not to be confused with a zodiac-type rubber raft, they’re made with a channeled fiberglass hull that cuts through the waves. Each vessel is Coast Guard certified for over 30 passengers, but we won’t exceed 25, due to permit restrictions.
The adventure begins when we leave from the beach of scenic Hanalei Bay and shuttle you by dinghy to the vessel which is anchored just offshore. There, you’ll do a “dry-transfer”, stow your gear, grab a seat and get ready for the experience of a lifetime.
Cushioned, stadium-style bench seats allow comfortable viewing for all on-board. Our high speed RHIB’s, combined with a unique North Shore departure brings the Napali Coast into view just minutes after we leave Hanalei Bay, no one gets to the coast faster.
Just a step away from water entry, a ladder is provided for ease of access back onto the vessel and a freshwater shower is available when snorkeling is done. Featuring a small but functional marine head (restroom) on board, and a retractable canopy for shade when stopped but great unobstructed views while in motion.
