We are 4 adults and took the "Taste of Hana" tour. We all thought it was excellent and would recommend it to anyone. We chose this tour because it was "only" 5 hours, and the tour all the way to the town of Hana was more like 8 or 9 hours. Also, we arranged to be picked up at our hotel in West Maui, so that added an extra 2 hours (one hour each way). But this tour gave us a great "taste" of the more rural, scenic "Road to Hana" experience. This is a true "mom & pop" entity. We had the "mom" (Jasmine) as our guide who was a native of Maui and was a fountain of interesting facts and stories. We loved that it was so personal. Just the 4 in our party, and we were fortunate to get the 10 passenger van. Though 7 hours in a van (with plenty of stops along the way), the day flew by. Jasmine is a delight. Don't be put off by the price; this is Hawaii where stuff costs more. And, most importantly, the tour itself is very professional and fun!
